Tipping is appreciated but not always expected in Ireland. In restaurants, a tip of 10-15% is customary if the service was good. Tipping for other services like taxis or hotel staff is discretionary.

The currency used in the Republic of Ireland is the Euro (€). In Northern Ireland Pound Sterling (£) is the currency since this area is part of the United Kingdom. USD are not accepted as currency in Ireland.
