A fast-paced, action-packed weekend exploring the outdoors and savouring the nightlife with an outgoing, like-minded group of people and an energetic guide.   • Arrive in Crockets on the Quay and check out your room, overlooking the picturesque River Moy and Belleek Woods
  • Meet your weekend companions in Crockets bar between 7-8pm for a fun, ice-breaking session.
  • Avail of a ‘Warriors’ dinner in Crockets to fuel up for the weekend ahead (optional: €10)
  • Quench your thirst and enjoy an evening of entertaining live music by a local contemporary band

RIA Energise Yourself


  • Start your day by fuelling your body with a ‘Rocket Breakfast’ in Crockets on the Quay.
  • After breakfast, attend a short, snappy information session covering gear and nutrition. Your group will then be split into two based on your sporting and fitness levels.
  • Group 1 will embark on a long, fast-paced guided cycle, following the curving path of the River Moy to Killala Bay along the Wild Atlantic Way, through the seaside town of Enniscrone to the challenging hills towards the surf haven of Easkey. (Bikes available to hire for €25)
  • The atmospheric Belleek Woods, one of Europe’s largest urban woodlands is the destination for Group 2, where, up close and personal with nature, they will undertake a challenging trail run with their guide.
  • Regroup for a refuelling one hour lunch break to in Crockets to share stories and gear up for the afternoon
  • Switch groups – Group 1 heads for the woods, while Group 2 takes to the bikes!
  • Back at the meeting point in the later afternoon, both groups will take to the River Moy for a guided stand-up paddling session with Harbour SUP’n’Sail.
  • Experience and explore the wildlife and scenery against the most incredible backdrop of Quay Village and Belleek Woods, and race your opponents along a spectacular stretch of water that takes you past the magical Monasteries of the Moy all the way to the sea.

Energise Yourself

 Saturday Night:

  • After a quick refresh back at your room, it’s time for some downtime as we group for a dinner in Dillon’s. Replenish your reserves and revive your spirit with a wholesome, hearty meal  in this quaint bar and restaurant, which offers outstanding local cuisine with an open fire and warm atmosphere, right in the heart of Ballina. (Two-course meal: €20)
  • Hit the town for an evening of live music on a pub crawl through Ballina’s lively night scene



  • Rise and shine for an early morning ‘Beast Recovery Breakfast’ in Crockets
  • The fun isn’t over yet - choose from one of the following fun options to round off your weekend:
    • Take to the roads with a self-guided bike trip (maps provided)
    • Kayak trip along the river Moy to our own treasure island, Bartra (€35)
    • Guided run through the sand dunes on Enniscrone beach, with a climb to the top of the mysterious Valley of Diamonds
    • Surf the Wild Atlantic Waves with a lesson session in Ennsicrone  (€35)
    • Revive your senses and your skin with a soak in Kilcullen’s Seaweed Baths, which date from Edwardian times (€25)
  • Regroup for a picnic lunch on Enniscrone beach, with delicious treats straight from the oven in Marjorie’s Kitchen (Rachel’s Mam!) (€10)
  • Departure after lunch
