The World’s Toughest Race: ­Eco-Challenge Fiji is now the subject of a ten-part Amazon Prime series, hosted by Bear Grylls. It follows eight teams of endurance athletes from around the world as they take on the brutal conditions in a bid to complete the race.
They include Team Ireland — made up of Rob Heffernan, Rachel Nolan, Jason Black, Mark Lattanzi and Ivan Park.
